Latest Updates

Saturday, July 8, 2006: Today is the ten-year anniversary of DRG4's MARVEL CARTOON PAGES, so to commemorate that I've updated the STAN LEE OPENINGS and BUMPERS pages with a bunch of new video clips.

Wednesday, March 8, 2006: I've updated the STAN LEE OPENINGS and BUMPERS pages with a bunch of new video files, so check them out. I'll try to have a new icon pack ready for the next update.

Monday, October 17, 2005: There's a brand-new icon pack today which you can either download below or on the ICONS page. This one features the Puppet Master, the Impossible Man, Malice, Psycho-Man, Daredevil, and the Incredible Hulk. So, click on the picture below to download the fourth icon pack.

If you have any suggestions for future icon packs, E-MAIL ME (or post on the message board or guestbook).

Monday, August 8, 2005: Big update today as I've added two new sections to the site, the STAN LEE OPENINGS page and the BUMPERS page. The STAN LEE OPENINGS page features Stan Lee's introductions to each episode which are cut from the current reruns. The BUMPERS page features the original bumpers from the show that have also been cut from reruns. I'll be adding to each section as time goes by, so check them out.

Tuesday, July 12, 2005: The SUE FAINTS GALLERY has been updated with a bunch of new pictures. E-MAIL ME if you're aware of any that I've missed.

Wednesday, July 6, 2005: Lots of stuff today. First of all, the complete DVD set of the show is now available in stores. You can get more information about the set and order it up above. Also, the movie comes out on Friday, so you should be sure to check it out. A few of the cable channels will be showing marathons of episodes this weekend to promote the movie, so check your local listings for exact details. Finally, I've updated the ANIMATED GIFs section with some new files, so check them out. I've also redesigned the site a bit. I redid the frame and added a new opening picture which you can see above. The old one is at the bottom of this page.

Tuesday, June 14, 2005: Two things today. First of all, I've made a brand-new icon pack. This one features all of the Inhumans (Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Lockjaw, Triton, Karnak, Maximus, and Gorgon). Click below to download the icon pack.

Since this is the third icon pack, I've added a new ICONS page, which you can find in the frame at left.

The other piece of news is that the show will be returning to TV this week (since the movie is coming out soon), so check your local listings for the times and channels. Also, don't forget that the DVD set is coming out in a few weeks (which you can order up above).

Thursday, May 26, 2005: New update in the BEHIND THE SCENES section. The comic book made fun of the show soon after it premiered, and the offending page is now up for viewing, so check it out.

Tuesday, April 19, 2005: Two big updates today. First of all, I finally finished the redesign, so all of the pages are in this new format. Second, there's a new section on the site today called the SUE FAINTS GALLERY. It features pictures of all the times Sue fainted on the show. I'm probably missing some, so I'll add to the section as needed. I'll try to have another icon pack ready for the next update.

Thursday, March 24, 2005: There's a new icon pack today. This one features Sub-Mariner, Krang, Black Panther, Klaw, the Silver Surfer, and Galactus. So, click on the picture below to download the second icon pack.

If you have any suggestions for future icon packs, E-MAIL ME (or post on the message board or guestbook).

Friday, March 4, 2005: Lots of news today. First of all, Buena Vista/Disney has officially announced that the ENTIRE SERIES (all twenty-six episodes) will be released together on a DVD box-set on July 5, 2005 (to coincide with the release of the FF movie). It isn't known yet if they'll include the original Stan Lee introductions, but I'm thinking they won't since the current prints don't have them. You can check out the cover art below, and click on it to go to AMAZON.COM for further details and to pre-order the set. Since the set is going to be released in just a matter of months, Buena Vista/Disney is going to have to hurry if they want me to act as a consultant. I have some ideas that I think would be useful and easy to implement, so hopefully they'll get in contact with me. If that happens, I'll try to get some complimentary copies of the set that I can give away to some lucky site visitors through a contest or something like that.

The other piece of news for today is that TOONZONE has created their own FF cartoon site and have got it up and running. If you're looking for lots of high-quality pictures from the season one episodes (although I don't know why anybody would), be sure to check out their episode guide. They also have an interview with Boyd Kirkland, one of the show's storyboard artists who has worked on a bunch of other Marvel cartoons. I didn't know he even worked on this show, so CHECK OUT THE INTERVIEW for more details.

I think that's it for this update. Expect a second icon pack next time.

February 7, 2005: I've finally redesigned the layout of the site. We'll see if this one sticks.

1-22-05: Significant update today, as I've made some WINDOWS icons from the show. This first pack features the entire team, Dr. Doom, and Mole Man. For those of you who don't know how to use icons, what you do is right-click the folder or file that you want to change the icon of, click PROPERTIES, and then click CHANGE ICON. Then all you have to do is navigate to where the icons are on your computer. So, click on the picture below to download the first icon pack.

12-20-04: Huge update in the ANIMATED GIFs section. There are a bunch of new animated GIFs up for you to view. I'll try to add some more on the next update.

11-10-04: The INTERVIEW WITH NEIL ROSS is now online in the "Behind the Scenes" section, so check it out. A big special thanks to Neil Ross for taking the time out of his schedule to answer the questions.

11-3-04: VERY IMPORTANT update today. Neil Ross, the voice of Dr. Doom, Pupper Master, and lots of others, has agreed to an interview about the show. If you have any questions for him, E-MAIL ME and I'll consider asking them in the interview. Try to send me your questions in the next few days.

9-11-04: The FANTASTIC FOUR QUICKIES section has been redesigned with new/better higher quality versions of the cameos. I've also added a few new cameos that I never noticed before, so check it out. Also, ABC Family is showing a huge marathon of Marvel cartoons tomorrow (Sunday morning), and they're showing three FF episodes (the Silver Surfer/Galactus two-parter from season 1 and the Daredevil episode from season 2), so check your local listings for the time and watch them.

8-20-04: Yet another update to the SOUNDS section. Lots of new season two sounds. Thanks yet again to Captginyu@o2.pl for supplying the sounds.

8-15-04: The SOUNDS section has been updated again. There are a bunch of new sounds from season two and I've organized everything into categories. Thanks again to Captginyu@o2.pl for supplying the sounds.

8-13-04: The SOUNDS section has been redesigned. All of the sounds have been remade and now have smaller file sizes and are in much better quality. Thanks to Captginyu@o2.pl for supplying the reformated sounds.

8-4-04: The BEHIND THE SCENES section has been updated with a bunch of new articles. Also, I've put up an Amazon.com Donation Page so you can donate to the site (it's in the frame and on this page). If you want to see more content (such as multimedia stuff), or if you just want to express your gratitude for what's already on here, CLICK HERE to donate. Thanks in advance.

6-24-04: Lots of new animated GIFs are up in the ANIMATED GIFs section. Also, I'm looking for various 90-minute versions of Saturday Night Live episodes (ranging from 1997-2000). I can trade episodes from practically all of the 90's Marvel Cartoons (including the Avengers and Spider-Man Unlimited), so please e-mail me if you can help.

5-29-04: All of the screen captures from the episodes are back up on the episode pages, so each episode page now has a bunch of pictures to go with it. Also, does anyone out there have a copy of Wizard Magazine # 68? I need an article that's in there about the Spider-Man cartoon. If you have it, please e-mail me ASAP. I can offer up some X-Men season 1 and 2 tapes as thanks.

3-12-04: The "Episode Guide" sections are back to the old format. Each episode now has its own separate page with pictures, summaries, and notes. Post your thoughts on the new/old format in the message board. The next step is finding space to put back all of the other episode guide pictures.

3-8-04: There's a big update today. First of all, I updated the frame to a new format. Second of all, there's a brand-new section on the site called "Animated GIFs." It features a bunch of animated GIFs that I made from various episodes. Post your thoughts on today's updates in the message board.

7-13-03: The "Sounds" section is finally back online.

7-1-03: There are two brand-new sections on the site today.  The first is called "Behind the Scenes," which features lots of stuff related to the creation of the show.  The second is an all-new message board.  Both of the new sections can be accessed from the frame at left. Let me know what you think about them.

6-28-03: There's a new section on the site today. It's called "Buy Fantastic Four Stuff," where you can buy episodes of the show on VHS or DVD.  Also, I increased the sizes of the episode pictures to a much bigger format. Let me know what you think. Also, I'm in the middle of converting the sound files to MP3s. They should be back up soon.

8-30-02: Well, there's lots of important news today. First of all, I've fixed the picture problem. Every episode has at least one picture from that episode to go along with its summary. Second of all, I do NOT have video clips on this site anymore. I don't have any webspace to put them, so please don't e-mail me asking for video clips.

4-30-00: The "Fantastic Four Quickies" section has been updated with two occurences that I've had on my hard drive but have just forgotten to add. Both are from "Hopelessly Impossible."

4-20-00: I made a new opening picture for the main page. Just so you know, that center shot of the FF isn't really from any of the episodes. I took each member from different scenes from different episodes.

4-1-00: Go check out the "Video Clips" page for the fate of the video clips.

9-17-99: Two important things today. First off, it seems that UPN has stopped showing the FF during its Sunday morning cartoon block. Its been replaced with 2 hours of Disney cartoons. What makes matters worse is that UPN stopped showing the show once it started showing the season 2 episodes. They only showed 5 out of the 13 episodes from season 2, so they would have eventually shown them all. If you want to see those remaining 8 episodes, or any of the other episodes for that matter,
e-mail me and I'll refer you to some guys who have them all on tape. ALSO, I made a minor change on the Quickies page, since I misidentified Sabra as Captain Marvel.

7-28-99: Well, the REALLY HUGE update is finally here. When I say REALLY HUGE, I do mean REALLY HUGE. The following is what I've done:

1) First off, I redesigned both of the episode guides. Now, each of the 26 episodes has its own seperate page, containing screenshots, summeries, and various notes. Also, this means that there are new pictures from the following episodes in season 2: "Nightmare In Green," "Behold, A Distant Star," "Hopelessly Impossible," "The Sentry Sinister," and "Doomsday." That means that there are now pictures from EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE 26 EPISODES. I hope the seperate pages will reduce the loading times.

2) I've also updated the sounds page with a few more clips, primarily from "And A Blindman Shall Lead Them." The newest sounds are at the top of the page.

3) There's also a BRAND-NEW section on the site today, called "Fantastic Four Quickies." It showcases the times when other famous Marvel Superheroes appeared for a second or two on the show. I'm pretty sure I found all of them. You can access the page through the frame.

4) Well, that's basically it. Since all the screen captures are done, I'm taking a break. You may want to check out my other Marvel Cartoon pages, once you're done here. I recommend all of them.

7-27-99: There's going to be a REALLY HUGE update tomorow. There's going to be tons of changes and tons of new stuff.

7-25-99: I've added screenshots from both "Prey of the Black Panther" and "When Calls Galactus" to the season 2 episode guide.

7-24-99: Now there are screen captures from "World Within Worlds" and "To Battle the Living Planet" in the season 2 episode guide. Incidentally, UPN is showing "World Within Worlds" tomorrow morning.

7-22-99: Screenshots from "And a Blind Man Shall Lead Them" are now up in the season 2 episode guide.

7-19-99: Now that I'm done with my Spider-Man and X-Men pages, I'll be able to devote a lot of time to this page. Expect really FREQUENT updates until the season 2 episode guide has pictures from every episode. Also, expect an "F.F. Quickies" pages soon. It'll take over for the "Strange Facts" section.

7-10-99: Two things today. First off, does anyone know of any good video capture cards? I want to make RealVideo files of the episodes, and I need a good video card in order to do so. Also, if I were to make files of the episodes, is there anyone out there with a domain name who would be willing to host them for me? The web-providers I use won't allow files that are that big, so if anyone can help me, please
e-mail me.

6-28-99: The "Pictures of the F.F. Actors" section has been updated with a few more entries.

6-24-99: Expect a screen capture from season 2 shortly. I've been working a lot on my other Marvel Cartoon Pages, so I should start concentrating on this one really soon.

6-14-99: IMPORTANT UPDATE TODAY. I just got in contact with Beau Weaver (the voice of Mister Fantastic) and he's agreed to answer some questions about the show. If there's something you want to ask him,
e-mail me your question. I'll be sending him the list at the end of the week.

6-13-99: A new section is up today, called "
Other Appearances."It showcases the times that the F.F. has appeared on other Marvel cartoons.

5-30-99: Another screen capture update today. There are now pictures from the following episodes in the season 1 episode guide: "Behind the Negative Zone," "Super Skrull," and "Incursion of the Skrulls." That means that the season 1 section is completely FINISHED. I'll be working on the season 2 section shortly.

5-29-99: Screen capture update today. There are now screen captures from the following episodes in the season 1 section: Mole Man, Coming of Silver Surfer and Galactus parts 1 and 2, and the Return of the Silver Surfer and Galactus.

5-21-99: Expect a BIG update soon. Much thanks go to "Ewing" for supplying me with the rest of the episodes I needed to complete my collection.

4-6-99: The new Fantastic Four Sounds section is now up. Expect it to be updated with a lot more sounds soon.

3-7-99: Updated the season 1 episode guide with pictures from the Sub-Mariner episode.

2-28-99: The major update is finally here. First, I changed the opening picture, which you can see above. Second, the cast list was updated to include a few more entries. And finally, I've added a whole of mess of screenc captures. In season 1, I added pictures from both parts of the "Origin of the Fantastic Four" and "The Mask of Doom part 3." In season 2, I added pictures from all 3 parts of the "Inhumans Saga."

2-1-99: The major update will be occuring soon, still. It will include screen caputres from the first two episodes, Mask of Doom Part 3, and a few more episodes. It will be coming soon.

1-17-99: Expect a MAJOR update to the page really soon.

11-27-98: Screen captures up from the Mask of Doom parts 1 and 2, in the season 1 episode guide.

9-3-98: Page is redesigned, with frames.
