At Crime Central, Hammerhead and Rhino both arrive with the items that they have stolen. Hammerhead stole Curt Conners' prototype for a new Neogenic Reverser that could reverse the effects of Neogenics (to cure his Lizard problem). Rhino stole one of Iron Man's armored gloves. They enter the gigantic room where the base of Kingpin's operations is, and give the two items to Herbert Landon.



Kingpin asks them if there were any complications in getting the items, and both say no. He nods, and tells Landon to get to work on the Neogenic device. It seems that Landon realized that Spider-Man's powers came from Neogenics. He told Kingpin and said that he could build a device to rid Spider-Man of his powers. Kingpin okayed the idea, and that led to Rhino and Hammerhead stealing the two items. Landon needs to combine the two to form a glove that will reverse the effects of Neogenics. As Landon leaves for his lab, Kingpin lets out a laugh. He has just realized that soon, his mortal enemy will be destroyed!
