After your crushing defeat, you decide to go to ESU and talk to Dr. Conners about what was stolen. You web-sling over to his office at ESU and knock on the window. He sees you and lets you in. He goes and sits at his desk with an angry look on his face. You ask him what it was that Hammerhead stole from ESU.  He says that it was his prototype for a device that can reverse the effects of Neogenics.  

He says that he was working on it so he could cure his Lizard problem. You recall you last battle with the Lizard during that whole Neogenic Nightmare mess with the Scorpion and the Vulture where you and the doc barely got out alive.



Conners says that the other item stolen was one of Iron Man's gloves. You try to think why the Rhino would steal one of Iron Man's gloves, but you can't come up with a good reason. All of a sudden, the window that you came in from explodes, and standing in it's place is your enemy, Mysterio!

He releases one of his lethal gases, and you try to hold your breath so it won't effect you. He heads toward Dr. Conners, who is already starting to pass out. Suddenly, he collapses behind his desk. You try to attack Mysterio, but he has a type of defensive shield around him, which causes you to stumble backward. Just then, the Lizard pops up from behind the desk, saying how he will destroy you!

Mysterio tells the Lizard that he is your enemy also and if they band together, then they can kill you. The Lizard agrees, and prepares to attack!
