NOTES The Season 5 episode NO MUTANT IS AN ISLAND was supposed to air after this episode to show that Jean Grey didn't really die at the end of this episode. However, heavy animation problems resulted in the episode being delayed until the fifth season, so Jean's return was never properly explained.
