Dr. Octopus: Armed and Dangerous (Episode 6) Story by John Semper & Brooks Wachtel Teleplay by Brooks Wachtel & Cynthia Harrison Originally Broadcast on February 18, 1995 Peter is about to take Felicia on a date when disaster strikes. While she's up in her room getting a jacket, a man with tentacles, Doctor Octopus, attacks and kidnaps her. Peter rushes to help her but is too late and is knocked unconcious. When he wakes up, he finds CIA and FBI agents in the room and they interrogate him. Anastasia Hardy arrives and is told the bad news, and given a ransom note they found. She recognizes the handwriting and knows who the captor is, Dr. Otto Octavius, a scientist recently funded by The Hardy Foundation. Elsewhere, Doc Ock tells Felicia his origin. He says how the Hardy Foundation helped fund him so he could go ahead in the process of making his set of metalic arms. He then goes on to explain that her mother abruptly cut off the funding, leaving for him to continue his research in a dismal place, and not have all the safeguards he needs. NOTES This episode was loosely based on AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 3.
