As a chanteuse named Dazzler flirts with Scott, Jean/Phoenix finds herself psychically seduced by Jason Wyngarde, with help from Emma Frost and the other mutants in the Inner Circle Club. Wyngarde weaves a new history for the confused Jean/Phoenix, creating a passionate romance between himself and her.
