Out of the Past, Part 1 (Episode 27) Written by Michael Edens Originally Broadcast on July 29, 1994 Wolverine's former love, a Japanese woman named Yuriko, believes Wolverine caused her father's death. She has turned herself into a living weapon, the cyborg Lady Deathstrike, and has come to America to seek revenge. Deathstrike lures Wolverine and the X-Men into the Morlock tunnels where she hopes that a stunning, alien discovery may be the secret to her destroying the man she once loved so deeply. NOTES This episode originally aired in primetime during the month of July along with the second season premiere of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. This episode had to be heavily reanimated since the animators originally drew Lady Deathstrike's shirt in a "revealing" fashion. Bootleg copies exist of this "original" version somewhere.
